An AI company named Anthropic recently changed its rules. The company blocked access to its new AI models. These new models are Fable 5 and Mythos 5. The United States government ordered this change. Now, people outside the US cannot use these new tools. Even Anthropic's own workers in other countries must stop using them.

This news started a big conversation in India. Just before this rule, Anthropic made an agreement with Tata Consultancy Services. Tata is a huge Indian business. They planned to bring more AI into Indian offices.

Why did the US government make this rule? Reports say Amazon CEO Andy Jassy contacted the government first. He talked about security worries. The White House blamed Anthropic for security mistakes. However, Anthropic did not agree with the government's reasons.
