About Simple News

Simple News is an educational platform that uses AI to generate and adapt news articles for English language learners at different CEFR proficiency levels (A1–C1). By accessing or using Simple News, you agree to these terms.

Simple News is currently free to use. We may introduce optional premium features in the future; any paid features will be clearly labelled and will require separate agreement.

AI content disclaimer

All articles on Simple News are generated or adapted by artificial intelligence. While we aim for accuracy and clarity, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.

• Articles are intended for educational and language-learning purposes only.
• Simple News is not a substitute for professional news sources, legal advice, medical advice, or any other professional service.
• Always verify important information through authoritative primary sources.

Acceptable use

You may use Simple News for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Reproduce, republish, or redistribute article content commercially without prior written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or otherwise abuse the platform.
• Impersonate another user or provide false information when creating an account.

Non-commercial sharing (e.g., in a classroom or study group) is permitted provided you attribute Simple News as the source.

No redistribution without attribution

Content from Simple News may not be reproduced on other websites, apps, or publications without clear attribution to Simple News and a link to the original article. Commercial redistribution or resale of content is prohibited without explicit written permission.

Account termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or are inactive for an extended period. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

Disclaimer of warranties

Simple News is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Simple News shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Poland.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Continued use of Simple News after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
