Structure:

mi / ti / gli / le / ci / vi / gli (loro)

gli = to him; le = to her; in modern Italian gli also serves as plural (to them).

Example:

Gli ho dato il libro. Le ho scritto un messaggio. **Translation:** I gave him the book. I wrote her a message.

Examples

Gli ho dato il libro.

I gave him the book.

Le ho scritto un messaggio.
