Structure:

3rd person forms: leyó / leyeron, oyó / oyeron, creyó / creyeron

When the -ie-/-io- ending follows a vowel, it becomes -ye-/-yo-.

Example:

¿Oíste la música? No leí el correo. **Translation:** Did you hear the music? I didn't read the email.
