Prepositions: par and chez

Structure:

par + noun (by/through/per) / chez + person (at someone's home)

Chez is also used with professions: chez le médecin (at the doctor's).

Example:

Je passe par Lyon. Trois fois par semaine. Je suis chez Pierre. **Translation:** I pass through Lyon. Three times a week. I am at Pierre's place.
